Katelyn Somin Jun
Katelyn Jun joined BCK as an associate in March 2020. She focuses her practice in civil litigation with a focus on general tort litigation and medical and healthcare litigation.
Prior to joining BCK, Ms. Jun worked for a medical malpractice defense firm in Chicago, where she gained experience assisting in jury trials that led to defense verdicts.
Ms. Jun graduated from the University of Illinois, College of Law in Urbana-Champaign in May 2018. While in law school, Ms. Jun served as a Notes Editor for the Elder Law Journal. She also has experience representing clients in child abuse and neglect cases at the Family Advocacy Clinic as a 711 licensed student attorney.
Ms. Jun is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, and the Korean American Bar Association.
